• —Structure. One first-level heading per page, headings in order, sections labelled, landmarks marked, and a skip link as the first thing a keyboard reaches.
• —Keyboard. Everything that can be done with a pointer can be done with a keyboard. Focus is always visible and is never removed. The basket panel moves focus in on opening, closes on Escape, and returns focus to the button that opened it.
• —Figures are text. Cloth weight, abrasion cycles, tear strength and the standard each was measured under are written out as text. No measurement on this site is conveyed by an icon or by colour alone.
• —The reinforcement map has a text equivalent. The drawing on each product page is hidden from assistive technology; the same points are listed in words underneath, in the same order, with a sentence describing each. The list is the primary version.
• —Forms. Every field has a visible label bound to it, errors are announced and tied to their input, and no error is signalled by colour alone.
• —Images. Product photographs carry descriptions that say what the garment is and what state it is in. Decorative frames are marked as decorative so they are skipped.
• —Motion. The drifting strip, the crossfade between grounds and the flare on the abrasion figure all stop when your system asks for reduced motion. The hero video is silent and carries no information that is not also written on the page.
• —Consent. Refuse and accept are the same size, at the same level, with the same weight. Neither is favoured visually.

The site has two grounds, daylight and lamplight, and contrast is checked separately in each. Body text is at or above 4.5:1 against its background in both; the main call to action is at or above 7:1 in both.

The switch carries a label naming the current ground and what pressing it will do. It opens on your system preference and only overrides that once you have chosen. Choosing is remembered on your own device.

• —Some specification figures are set in a monospaced face at small sizes. It is legible and it passes contrast, but it is denser than the body face; page zoom handles it.
• —The wide measurement tables scroll sideways on a narrow screen rather than reflowing. The scrolling region is keyboard reachable, but a table is still a table.
• —No independent audit has been carried out, so there may be defects we have not found.
• —No accessibility statement can substitute for being told. If something here stops you, the section below is the fastest route to it being fixed.
