fourteen days, no reason needed

The 14-day period runs from the day you, or a third party you designate other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods. Where an order is delivered in several parcels, it runs from receipt of the last one.

If the period ends on a Saturday, a Sunday or a public holiday, it is extended to the next working day. You need only send your decision before the period expires; the goods themselves can follow.

• —Tell us before the 14 days are up, by email to support@handsonclothing.store, by post to 14 Rue Chauveau-Lagarde, 75008 Paris, France, or by filling in the standard form below.
• —An unambiguous statement is enough. The standard form is offered for convenience and is not obligatory.
• —Wait for our return instructions before sending anything back. We reply within one working day with the return address and a reference to put in the parcel.
• —Send the goods back within fourteen days of telling us. Keep the proof of posting; it is what protects you if a parcel goes astray.

Try the garment on as you would in a shop. You may handle it to establish its nature, characteristics and fit, and doing so costs you nothing.

You are liable only for any loss in value resulting from handling that goes beyond that. In practice: a garment that has been worn for work, washed, altered, or that comes back marked or smelling of smoke or perfume, may be refunded at a reduced amount, and we will tell you why in writing before we do so.

Outbound delivery

Refunded in full, at the rate of our standard delivery. If you chose a faster service, we refund the standard rate.

Return postage

Paid by you, unless the item was faulty, not as described or sent in error, in which case we cover it in full.

Restocking fee

None. We do not charge one.

We refund within 14 days of receiving your decision to withdraw. We may hold the refund until the goods are back with us, or until you provide proof of posting, whichever comes first.

The refund is made by the same means you used to pay, unless you expressly agree to another. It costs you nothing either way.

French law lists cases where withdrawal does not apply. Of those, only one could conceivably touch this catalogue: goods made to your own specification or clearly personalised.

We do not currently make anything to order and we do not personalise garments, so in practice every item sold here can be returned. Nothing in the catalogue is sealed for health or hygiene reasons.

Withdrawal is for changing your mind. If a garment is faulty, not as described, or does not match the figures published on its page, that is a different matter and a better one for you: the statutory guarantees apply, they run far longer than 14 days, and return postage is on us.
