A reinforced point carries a second layer or a denser stitch. It moves the wear from one layer to two; it does not make the area exempt from wear. Where you work hardest is still where the garment will change first.

Webbing is a four-centimetre cotton tape, folded and stitched at the tip.

The buckle is solid brass with a roller, so the tape does not fray at the crease.
