where it is reinforced

Reinforced at

This piece is a single layer throughout. Nothing on it is doubled or bartacked beyond the ordinary construction seams.

A reinforced point carries a second layer or a denser stitch. It moves the wear from one layer to two; it does not make the area exempt from wear. Where you work hardest is still where the garment will change first.

in detail

Heavier than a standard tee by about eighty grams, which is what keeps the hem from curling.

Neck rib is taped shoulder to shoulder so it does not stretch out of the collar.

No abrasion or pilling figure is published for this cloth.
